The Packers drafted Jerel Worthy and Mike Daniels last year but still need more help across the defensive line. Ryan Pickett is in his 30s, Jarius Wynn and CJ Wilson are merely average, and Anthony Hargrove is a wild card facing suspension. Mike Neal can't be depended on with his injury history. Getting a consistent player to line up across from Worthy in the future will be important. Why not take a gamble on his college teammate in Gholston. Gholston is a huge body with great power but he also possesses above average quickness and at 6'6 is a perfect fit as a five-technique end in a 3-4 scheme.
