1. Where has the Big East Gone?

The biggest question for the big east now, is can the team stay a BCS conference. This question is the most important the conference has faced yet. In the wake of the ACC annex of Miami (Florida) and Virginia Tech - arguably the top two teams in the conference, there is some catching up to do. They will eventually add Cincinnati, Louisville, and South Florida, but will it be enough to keep them from just being a mid major conference? Millions of dollars hang on the line. Ironically, this could have been one of the best years for the big east ever, with competitive Boston College and West Virginia Teams. Only time will tell how the conference will recoup.
