Crabtree needs surgery

Posted by Administrator On February - 21 - 2009

In breaking news out of Indianapolis, Sideline Scouting has learned that Michael Crabtree, the top rated wide-out in this year’s draft, will be unable to work out at the combine and at the Texas Tech pro day due to a stress fracture in his foot.

Surgery will require placing a screw in his foot and ankle area.

This is not terrible news though because Jonathan Stewart, a first round pick last year, required the same surgery before the draft.

Michael Crabtree will not be able to workout for ten weeks and it is unknown as to whether he will be able to hold a private workout prior to the 2009 NFL Draft or not.
