The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to trade for Buffalo Bills left tackle Jason Peters early Friday, according to multiple sources.
By Friday night, , according to a source, Peters had signed a four-year extension worth $53 million in new money. The Eagles acquired him with two years remaining on his Bills contract. In total, Peters will make $60 million over the next six seasons.

Though NFLDraftBible.com took a lot of criticism a couple of weeks ago, and perhaps rightfully so, for naming six players as having tested positive for marijuana or banned substances at the Scouting Combine, we’ve confirmed that one of the players outed by the web site — Florida receiver Percy Harvin — indeed tested positive for marijuana at the Combine.
The Cleveland Browns’ brass has stated publicly that the franchise is sitting on first round trade offers for QB Brady Quinn and WR Braylon Edwards as well as the fact that they are “sold” on Michael Crabtree (WR #1). This could be a tricky smokescreen though.
