2009 Draft Report Card

The 2009 NFL Draft has come to a close and we are finished grading every pick, of every team, and how the team used its draft picks. Here at Sideline Scouting, we use a mathematical formula to grade the draft.
Pete Dymeck gives each draft pick a score of .5-10. Each score is based on need, value, and Dymeck’s final rankings. Also, each NFL teams receives an extra score of .5-10 on how they used their draft picks to address needs and make their team better. The total sum of all individual scores is multiplied to equate the draft score.
The scores are then ranked and only based off of each NFL team’s score, a grade is handed out. So no, we do not just assign alphabetical letters to each team and call it a day. We follow a precise order, the Dymeck grading formula, to determine our report card.
