The Cardinals are in desperate need of a pass rusher. Sam Acho appeared to have some potential but was rated very poorly by Pro Football Focus. O'Brien Schofield is merely average and Quentin Groves is nothing to write home about. Adding that premier pass rusher is what will take the Arizona defense to the top. Mingo is one of the best pass rushers in this class. He can play defensive end during 4-3 looks and play standing up in 3-4 looks. He has terrific initial quickness off the edge and blows past tackles on his way to the quarterback. Arizona would probably like to add a quarterback with this pick since the Kevin Kolb experiment will be through year two and John Skelton is not a franchise quarterback but there's nobody on the board worth taking here at 16.
