The New York offense has been in search of a tight end for years; taking late round fliers in each of the past few drafts. Kevin Boss, Travis Beckum, Bear Pascoe, and Adrien Robinson have all been taken between rounds three and six in the past five drafts by the Giants but none have become the consistent threat the Giants would like at the position. The verdict is still out on Robinson, who hasn't played a down yet, but he's more of an athletic project than an immediate starter. Tyler Eifert solves all of those problems and gives the team a consistent starter for the next decade. He's the top tight end in this class and contributes both as a receiver and a blocker.
